Blog Post Draft: Useful Tips & Tricks

Copying and Pasting to Squarespace

So, it looks like Squarespace has made it easier to copy and paste from other documents! The following workflow should work for you:

  1. Copy the text from your Google Doc or Word Doc.

  2. Paste into a text block on Squarespace. Your text will most likely be entirely bold at this point.
  3. Highlight the pasted text.
  4. De-select the "B" in the toolbar.
  5. From the "Format" dropdown, choose "Normal."

Your font should now match all other parts of Hello World Civ. You can check this by comparing a preview of your post with this announcement. (See Squarespace Support: Previewing a Blog Post)
